Experience an Artful Night at the Denver Botanic Gardens

This saturday, explore insightful forms of expression inspired by art and science

The Denver Botanic Gardens is hosting its Night at the Museum this Saturday, November 2nd from 5-10 pm at the Freyer – Newman Center. Admission is free and is expected to showcase several gallery exhibitions, music, fabulous fungi and more.

Alexandra Kehayoglou, an Argentinean artist that spends her time in Buenos Aires, Argentina and Athens, Greece, shares her artistic perspective, through her exhibition, “River’s Voice”. The exhibition focuses on the Paraná de las Palmas River, in Argentina, threatened by agricultural expansion and development. Visitors are encouraged to interact with the art and walk through the wetlands. Other exhibitions include, Elliot Ross: Geography of Hope and Shadow and Light: Patrick Marold.

Event goers can also explore a musical journey with a a performance lecture by Denver-based composer and artist, Nathan Hall. The audience will get a behind-the-scenes experience listening to the unique sounds of the Gardens. For flower lovers, “Art in Bloom” offers a unique opportunity to view art in action with a live wearable floral design demonstration by renowned floral headdress artist and owner of Babylon Floral Design, Inc. Arthur Williams.
