A native Houstonian who spent two decades as a hospitality and lifestyle publicist before making a career pivot into venture capital, shares her favorite things.

2. Colorado Nonprofit Event The Fête des Fleurs is one of the most stylish black-tie events of the year. Because it’s held at Denver Botanic Gardens, most of the attendees dress in garden themed colors and patterns, which makes for colorful, fun photos. 3. Skincare Skinbetter Science has changed the texture of my skin for the better. I’m at an age where I only use medical-grade skincare brands, and since we live in Colorado, I need all the active ingredients I can get. 7. Furniture Line I love both Maxalto and Molteni&C furniture lines. Their pieces are so chic, and just one or two of their items can make any room feel sophisticated.
